Headliner: Hop-Headbanger’s Ball

Never mind the bollocks, it’s the Hop-Headbanger’s Ball. Join us at Commercial Drive’s own Woodland Smokehouse for an evening of beer, BBQ, and of course, rock & roll! Your ticket will get you a plate of BBQ courtesy of Peckinpah, as well as two ‘red cups’ of craft beer; additional ‘red cups’ are $4 each. Music for the evening will be provided by Sack Blabbath, so let your inner rockstar shine by coming as your favourite rock legend… unless you’re scared, punk.
Opening Act: Island to Island Beer Pairing Dinner

For one special evening and for the first time ever, five of Vancouver Island’s top craft breweries will be highlighted at a beer dinner at Granville Island’s Edible Canada at the Market. One feature beer each from Driftwood, Hoyne, Phillips, Spinnakers and Swans will be showcased, and paired with Chef Tom Lee’s new Canadian cuisine.

Let’s take it back to the basics with the classic pairing of beer and wings. Vancouver’s newest hangout in Gastown- The Pint- boasts an extensive menu,including 40 flavours of wings. What goes best with wings? BEER! The Whistler Brewing Company is pleased to pair 4 of their locally brewed craft beers with 4 of The Pint’s unique wing flavours-including the VCBW 41st flavour. With every ticket receive one of our carefully selected local pints and a titillating show by some of Vancouver’s best burlesque performers, with a little live jazz thrown in for good measure. Two years ago we said goodbye to DIX BBQ & Brewery with the Four Beers and a Funeral Pub Crawl. This year we’re remembering those awesome times with two separate casks of IPA from former DIX Brewmasters Derek Franche and Tony Dewald. No reservations required, just show up and enjoy!
