In celebration of Vancouver Craft Beer Week’s return, 28 of British Columbia’s finest breweries have banded together to create a collaboration beer, with all proceeds being donated to the Japanese Red Cross Society Tsunami Relief Fund. Thanks to Canada Malting for donating the raw materials for the creation of this beer, and to R&B Brewing where the collaboration beer was brewed on April 1st, 2011.
This year’s collaboration beer style is Cascadian Dark Ale (CDA), a style that originated in the Pacific Northwest. We trust you’ll enjoy the robust dark malt body and hoppy backbone of this finely crafted ale.
