Devil’s Elbow Ale & Smoke House

562 Beatty Street, Vancouver

Beer. Bourbon. BBQ.

We love BBQ, bourbon, beer, bacon, and sharing a laugh with you!

There’s a lot of ways life can be complicated, so we like to keep it simple.

We believe that eating isn’t just about feeding your body. It’s about feeding the soul, too. And life is too short for mediocre soul food. Smokey, savory, sweet, juicy, satisfying & devilishly good. Whatever you crave is what we’re serving. Devil’s Elbow Smoke & Ale House was born on a summer’s day in 2014. With a desire to combine the best of BBQ with the best of BC Craft Beer we began. High-quality ingredients, delicious recipes, lots of TLC. Not to mention a funky interior design, great music and super hip atmosphere.
We hope to see you soon!

Devil’s Elbow Presents: Forbidden Fruit 2019
    _____________________________________________

Back for it’s 5th year, Forbidden Fruit is the apple of Vancouver Craft Beer Week’s eye!

With over 20 fruity + sour beers featuring our local BC breweries.

    _____________________________________________________________________________

    Here’s what you can expect:

Come by between 5:00 PM to 9pm on Thursday, June 6th.

You are handed a drinking jar filled with 10 tokens.

You trade those tokens for both food and beer. (1 token = 6 oz beer, 2 tokens = 12 oz beer)

The beer is either fruity or sour, and everything in between, graciously provided by 23 of the best BC craft breweries.

Food is provided between 5:00 – 8:00 PM at stations set-up around the room. The regular menu is available to order from all night.

You hang out, drink beer, meet friends, listen to music, and eat snacks. It doesn’t get any better than that!

Sound good? Great. Let fruit be thy medicine.

    The fine print:

    1. We do have a fair bit of seating available, otherwise it’s standing/mingling room. You are not guaranteed a place to sit. Show up early and hope for the best. Or make friends with 2 people sitting at a giant booth.
    2. If you show up later in the evening, there is no guarantee that a beer you wanted to sample will still be available. We had 6 kegs drained by 9:00 PM last year. The solution is to get your butt down here early!
