BREWER: Port Moody Brewers Row
Style: Hazy Pale Ale with Passionfruit and Guava
ABV: 5%
IBU: 20

Tasting Notes:

Summer, Summer, Summertime…. Sit back relax and crack open this VCBW & Brewers Row collab Hazy Pale Ale. Magically hopped with El Dorado, Hull Melon and Idaho 7 hops and then infused with Passionfruit and Guava launching this beer into awesome sauce stratosphere. Crack it open, enjoy and repeat responsibly.

Collaboration Notes:

Brewers Row is located on the shores of Port Moody. Starting in 2014 with the opening of Yellow Dog Brewing followed closely by Moody Ales,Twin Sails opened the following year then followed by Parkside in 2016. All 4 breweries are located within a 3-block radius and accessible by sky train. Embraced by the local community brewers row has become part of the fabric of Port Moody while delivering quality and innovative beers.

These 4 amigos always enjoy a good time, and mix that in with the fine folks at VCBW it only made sense to collaborate on the official beer. Since this beer was brewed at Yellow Dog it also only made sense for partial proceeds to our friends at the SPCA based on their affinity for our canine friends. All perfect matches to go with a devastatingly good beer.

To Canada Malting , Brew Culture, West Coast Canning, and Chrislan for their generous donations to help make this year’s collaboration beer possible!

The 2017 VCBW Collaboration Beer will be available in draft and tall cans at participating venues and liquor stores.

In the spring of 2010, just after Vancouver completed the most successful Winter Olympic Games in history, a few craft beer enthusiasts gathered around a table and conspired over a few pints to arrive at a timely idea: to create Canada’s first week-long festival to showcase ‘real beer’ – and so, the first Vancouver Craft Beer Week was born. Fast forward 8 years (and add 70+ new craft breweries in BC) and VCBW has become the largest craft beer only celebration in Canada (15,000+ attendees) and has earned a reputation as Western Canada’s premier event for craft beer, cider, food, and music.
